Implementing AI compliance in SMEs

The new AI Act/regulation represents the world's first comprehensive regulation of artificial intelligence. Certain practices are prohibited. In addition, new compliance requirements must be observed depending on the risk profile of the AI application.

We provide comprehensive support in implementing the regulatory requirements of the AI Regulation.

Employee training: AI competence as a legal obligation

If employees in companies and public authorities come into direct or indirect contact with AI applications in their work, the AI Regulation provides for mandatory training to develop and maintain AI skills. This mandatory training will come into force on February 2, 2025 without any further transition period.

Article 4 of the AI Regulation regulates this:

"Providers and operators of AI-systems shall take measures to ensure, to the best of their knowledge and belief, that their personnel and other persons involved in the operation and use of AI-systems on their behalf have sufficient knowledge of AI, taking into account their technical knowledge, experience, education and training and the context in which the AI-systems are intended to be used and the persons or groups of persons with whom the AI-systems are intended to be used."

The content of these AI training courses is an in-house training course for employees, tailored to the respective target group, on the basic functionality of the AI used as well as the basics of ethical and legally compliant use of the tool and the interpretation of its results (automation bias, anchor effect, AI hallucinations, copyright infringements, etc.).

The employee training sessions last around 45 minutes and can be offered live online or as a demand video.

We carry out customized employee training courses at a flat rate of EUR 1,250 to EUR 3,490 plus VAT (depending on the number of employees in the company), which meet the requirements of Art. 4 of the AI Regulation in a legally compliant manner.

In-house seminar: AI compliance for officers

We offer tailor-made in-house training courses for officers and persons responsible within authorities and companies who are entrusted with the implementation of the AI Regulation. In this seminar, we provide the know-how to determine and implement the specific requirements with regard to AI compliance in your own company/authority in a legally compliant manner.
